Gibson Brothers of Barlestone (Comfort Buses) - 1956 to 1970

'Comfort Buses' carried on buying secondhand double deckers of various types from various operators the last double decker being bought in 1964. From then on it was only single deckers, coaches and dual purpose vehicles, all were bought new and interestingly after thirty eight years there was a return to Willowbrook for several bodies.
Gibson Brothers of Barlestone (Comfort Buses) sold out to Leicester City Bus in July 1979 but as further vehicles were all new after this sites 1970 cut off point this is where the 'Comfort Buses' galleries end.
